PARTNERSHIP IN FEEDING AND CLOTHING ORPHAN CHILDREN

-SAVE A LIFE-

-SECURE A FUTURE-

In the remote rural bush/jungle of Northern Matabeland of Zimbabwe lies a village know as Gwayi.  It is here that our mission ministry has, for the past eight years, witnessed multitudes surrendering their lives to Christ as a result of medical teams from the USA servicing rural clinics over a distance of 220 miles.  At these clinics evangelists preach daily.

The population of Zimbabwe is approximately 12.8 million people. The rural area of Northern Matabeleland, where our ministry is situated, does not have a single doctor servicing the rural clinics with a population of several million.

Zimbabwe as a nation is blighted by the AIDS epidemic.  Approximately 2,500 people die daily of AIDS throughout the nation.  This incurable disease has ravaged and decimated family life, leaving some 2.1 million orphans.  In most cases, not only have the parents died, but also grandparents, plus many of the extended families.  Added to this catastrophic crisis is the devastating drought of the past three years, resulting in multitudes dying from starvation.  Fields have not been cultivated for the past three years owing to the drought.

Milled maize (corn) is the staple diet, however, it is difficult for the rural people  to obtain this commodity, due to exorbitant prices and at most times the extreme lack of availability. This results in the rural communities eating roots and leaves of trees mixed with mud, as also rats, lizards, snakes,  locust, and just about anything that walks or crawls.

At Gwayi village, situated between Bulawayo and Victoria Falls, Mitzi and I have some 50 children mostly orphaned, that we are helping to feed by way of a limited monthly feeding program.  We regularly send money on a monthly basis acquire food for this project. This feeding project is only made possible by  preferential assistance given to the ministry by Officialdom favorable disposed towards the project.

Due to an acute shortage of funds, we are only able to provide a limited meals to these orphans on a weekly basis.

Our ministry does not have any official financial support base.  World Missions, Church of God, Cleveland as also South African Full Gospel Church of God do not support this ministry.  Official letters to this effect have been written by the organizational officialdom and are available on inquiry.
