 Dear Partner:

 Greetings in the precious name of Jesus.  Trust you are all well and experienced a blessed harvest year.  This end, thankful for the honor and privilege of being His servants in Zimbabwe.

 SAVE THE CHILDREN FROM STARVATION APPEAL

We have just had a meeting with the Regional Director of the largest Milling Company in the country.  The purpose of the meeting was to beg for an additional supply of maize meal to feed more starving rural school children.  I have been promised a further 300 – 50kg bags in the first two weeks of January 2006.  If we fail, hundreds of presently undernourished children, suffering from actual malnutrition will die.

 THE APPEAL – MERCY OFFERING

Please be compassionate and generous and appeal to the body (assembly) to partner in the last ditch offensive by taking up a mercy offering.  In addition to the schools we are currently feeding, a further 4 schools are to be added.  These 4 schools are among the most famished pupils we will be feeding.  Many of the children of these 4 schools have already died of starvation.  This we cannot allow to happen.

 Any mercy gift needs to be very urgently sent to World Missions with the request to hastily deposit such a Partner Mercy Gift into the Zimbabwe Medical, Educational Projects Account at Wachovia Bank in Yorktown, VA.

 Words are totally inadequate to convey the catastrophic tragedy taking place right now in the rural areas.  I need some US$5,500 to purchase the additional food.  Please contact my assistant, Ramona Potter in Newport News, VA at 757-874-1223 or email rpotter@wowcenter.org with your participation.
